![]() ![]() While its primary utility is saving allies stuck in dangerous positions, it can also be used to pull them into groups of foes, giving it some synergy with Overwatch 2 heroes like Reaper and Pharah that have powerful damage Ultimates. Life Grip, meanwhile, allows Lifeweaver to shield a teammate and rapidly pull them towards him. Petal Platform allows him to throw down a platform that raises up whenever an ally or enemy steps on it, which can be used both to lift teammates to high ground and to nullify foes using ground-based abilities like Orisa's Terra Surge. Similar to Ana, Lifeweaver can both enhance allies and disrupt enemies with his abilities. Note that since we've created a Lifeweaver hero guide that goes over all of the character's abilities, lore, and more in-depth, we'll keep things brief here. That’s everything you need to know about all upcoming changes announced for Overwatch 2 Season 3. Prices for these skins will now be lowered to 1,500 Overwatch Coins or Credits, meaning players can earn a Legendary skin of their choice each season. This includes skins from previous Seasonal event modes, which will be available at any time of the year rather than waiting for the event to roll around again. The first of these changes is that all Epic and Legendary skins released before the Overwatch 2 launch will always be available in the Hero Gallery for purchase, using either Overwatch Coins or Credits. The Overwatch 2 Hero Gallery is also receiving a couple of significant changes. Now, every player can earn up to 1,500 Overwatch Credits as free seasonal rewards, and Premium Battle Pass owners will be able to earn an extra 500, for a total of 2,000 Credits. Previously, these had shown in-game as ‘Legacy Credits’ and have been unearnable in Overwatch 2. Season 3 brings the return of Overwatch Credits, the currency from Overwatch 1. Not everyone has the spare cash to purchase Overwatch Coins, and the fact that they weren’t easily obtainable in-game meant that obtaining new Hero Skins or collectibles seemed nearly impossible. It’s not so much the lack of loot boxes that is the issue, but more the fact that with Overwatch Coins being the main currency in the game, there’s a total lack of ways to earn the credits for free. Many fans of Overwatch have found disappointment in Overwatch 2’s monetization and removal of loot boxes in favor of the new Overwatch Coins. ![]()
